Friday Night Football!

So...it's football season again!!! That means Friday Night High School Football. Tonight we went over to the game - it was at home. It was the first time we have made it in time for the opening kick off!!! (Yes...we were late to EVERY game last year!) We must be really good luck because we ran the opening kick off back for a touch down!

Here are Julie and I sporting our YHS t-shirts and getting ready to cheer on our favorite varsity quarter back, Wyatt of course! He's number 7 in the above picture!

It was a great game...we were up by ten when we took off at the start of the fourth quarter. (Rylie has an early soccer game...or we would have stayed!)

The kids had a great time! Rylie got some pom poms and she was definitely shaking her booty! It was quite a sight! We might have a cheerleader in the making on our hands!

In honor of the home game...the "Y" on the mountain was lit up...look familiar Cougar Alumni?!

Happy Birthday Katie!

Today is my little sister Katie's birthday. She would have been 29!Every year the kids and I send a birthday balloon up to her in heaven!

We sing happy birthday to her and then kiss her balloon so that she'll get our birthday kisses too!

Then we watch it go... Until we can't see it anymore!

It's Soccer Season!!!

Soccer games started two weeks ago! On our first Saturday with ALL THREE KIDS PLAYING we had 4 games!!! (Yeah...we have no life until this season is over!) We pretty much spend all day Saturday at the field...but it is all worth it! The kids love it, and we love watching them play!

The real highlight this year is that Rylie is finally on the field! She was so excited to "finally be old enough"! Of course, she HAD to have pink cleats and a pink soccer ball...and she was in heaven when she found out that her team was purple! (The purple dragons to be exact!) An added bonus being that Sam, Lauren, Riley, and Luke are on her team as well! She even likes the idea that she and Mason are the same color...she told him that they could share socks...isn't she sweet! The first week she was a little intimidated, but this past week she got out there and was a little more aggressive! Mason is in the under 10 division again this year. He is on the Strikers. He's on the field this year, instead of playing goalie, and he's enjoying it! He was the stopper last week...playing midfield. This past weekend he was a defender all game and did a great job!
Parker plays for the under 8 "Flamin' Cheetos" (and yes...their team is orange!). He's been playing all over the place...but has really found his place as a goalie! He does a great job and isn't afraid of the ball...or the players coming right for him! He had a great game this past Saturday and even scored his first goal of the season!

Kiss Me!!!

Is it just me, or is there something wrong with the fact that my 4 year old daughter goes around to everyone in sight, pulls up her shirt to show them her LIPS TATTOO, and then says KISS ME!!!??? (NO...I didn't put it there...I would have centered it on her belly button...duh!!! This one was all her dad!)

Life is always exciting with Rylie around!!!
