Playing Catch Up! - Part 2

Ok, so I'm still playing catch up! Things have been very busy at our house lately!While we were in Utah, we took the kids to my sister Katie's grave. Mason is the only one who has been there, but it was when he was a baby...so he didn't remember it. It was very sad sitting there, watching them look at her grave and realizing that they don't know her. Even though I tell them about her, it just isn't the same!

We were only in Utah for two days in February. The first day was the last post, when Donny came home. The second day we did "everything else"! After the cemetery and a quick drive past the house I grew up in, we headed to Salt Lake for the BYU/Utah girls basketball game. My cousin Alli is the assistant coach for the BYU girls team! The kids had so much fun watching the game! Afterwards, we met Alli and my aunt and uncle for dinner. Rylie loved Alli from the second she saw her, and wants to be just like her when she grows up!

After dinner we took the kids over to see the Salt Lake Temple and to walk around Temple Square and the Visitors Center. This is where Shane and I were married! The kids have seen lots of pictures, but I think they were surprised at how big it is when you see it in person!

Parker, our little photographer, took this picture of Shane and I...we have a picture of us on this same bench, under this same tree...on our wedding day!

The day ended with some serious Rock Band! Rylie only knows a few songs, since she's only four and can't read yet, but she's an awesome lead vocalist!!!
