This is the way WE do SPRING BREAK!!!

It's Spring Break...finally!!! I think I look forward to it just as much as my kids do! I love having them home! I love the simplicity of having almost no schedule (ok...it is baseball season...a minor inconvenience...especially since our league thinks Opening Day MUST fall on the Saturday in the middle of spring break...and that games MUST start the second week of spring break...preventing anyone from actually going anywhere too far during the 2 week break!)

I really try hard to be "laid back, fun mom" during this break. I don't worry about the house, bedtimes, or anything like that (although I probably should) and I just let the kids do whatever they want...within reason! I figure it's only 2 weeks...and it should be FUN!!!

So...here's what we've been doing for the past 2 days...it has been great!!!

Monday...the kids played the Wii...practically ALL day! They did get dressed at some point!

Mason has been reading his new book...if he hasn't been on the Wii...it is 600 plus pages...he's already half way done!

Yesterday we were supposed to go to Sea World...but Shane couldn't get away...so we're looking at next week. Instead, we met up with some friends at the park! Notice the Happy Meals...I forgot to mention...cooking isn't on my list of priorities either!

It was the perfect spring day...the kids had a great time at the park with their friends! (I had fun with mine too!!! Thanks Aimee, Alli, Amber and Meridith!)
When we got home it was Rylie's nap time. Mason kept commenting on what a nice day it was, so the boys and I laid outside and read for a while...it was so peaceful...it was perfect!

We're having a great time together...my main priority for these next two weeks!!! Off to play the Game Cube!

alli...it is a must!!! Mason was so glad Casey was there! Parker loves Harper...and need I even remind anyone how much Rylie loves Tiff! I need to e-mail you the pics from yesterday!

Eliza...should I really rub it in and tell you we were in flip flops? (we didn't have pretty pink sparkly toes though!)

How fun! What a great mom you are! And I think it is part of "break" to not get dressed. I love the days when I don't get changed out of my comfy clothes :)
