First Day of School!

Last Monday, the 18th, was everyone's first day of school! All 3 kids are going to new schools this year! Since our new school is opening this year, Mason and Parker are going to be walkers! Here they are with their friends, Giovanni, Chelsea, and Steven, on their way to opening day at CHES!!! (No...my kids don't usually wear t-shirts on the first day of school...it was a new school pride thing...wear school t-shirt day!)
Rylie is also going to a new school this year! She is going to preschool with her best buddy Lauren! They are in Miss. Kim's class and they already love her! I just hope she knows what she is in for!!!

All of the kids had a great first day of school! Mason (4th grade) is in a class with some of his buddies, and Parker (1st grade) gets to make all new friends this year! (He was pretty sad when he realized that his best buddy Devin will be staying at their old school, but we have lots of play dates scheduled, so he is ok!)

I only know they had a great first day because that is what the kids and my mom told me...Shane and I have been in Alaska for the past week! I know...I'm a terrible mom for missing the first week of school! Thanks to my mom being here with the kids, I know they were in great hands and that all was well! Tomorrow I'll get to see for myself how much the kids like school...I can't wait!

By the way...my absence would be why it was Mason's birthday for such a long time and why I'm only posting the first day of school now!

I found your blog through Missy's. I knew Shane from Farmington (my maiden name is Carol Dalley) Anyway, your family is just darling - it's nice to see that Shane is carrying on the baseball tradition to his boys! I just had to comment when I saw your Twilight/Breaking Dawn posts. You are so lucky to have gone to the SM concert! Glad to know there are other huge fans out there!
